It is the fourth most southern suburb of Brisbane, after Parkinson, Larapinta and Heathwood. However, Drewvale contains the southernmost residential properties in Brisbane, as the southern extents of Parkinson, Heathwood and Larapinta contain only industrial and commercial development.
