I’m gonna be one of the rare ones with a bad review - and not just because they pack people through and it’s difficult to maneuver and read (was there 4 hours). Can also attest to the students runnin…Full review by Sara E

Since the Museum is indoors, anytime is good to visit. However, since I assume you want to visit other sites also in D.C., I would suggest avoiding wintertime. It also appears that this year (2025), museum is closed Oct. 1 and 2 for Yom Kippur. Closed Christmas Day as well. Visit the website for all important information for visiting. You should make advance reservations as the museum has timed entry to avoid big crowds. Or, if you definitely want a guided tour, go to museum website and fill out the form on the guided highlights tour page. As to hotels, I stayed at the Henley Park Hotel, small but charming hotel in a good location. I took Lyft and Uber everywhere and thought it was reasonable since I didn’t have to pay for a rental car plus the hassle of driving around.
We are three seniors traveling to DC for a short visit and the Holocaust Museum is one of our must see museums. I would like to know if it is possible to get day of tickets on 3/28
