On a lark we stopped in Artesia NM and came across their cowboy sculptures. These are serious art in life size. It's like seeing a Remington in real life, except there are a dozen of them! Full review by S5792HProgerw

I had planned on going to the historical museum to get a map, but their open hours didn’t work for when we were there. So we rode around looking a little bit. Cute town with lovely huge statues. Full review by Christina B

The street sculptures is actually very nice. The sculptures are impressive and clearly describe the history of Artesia emphasizing aspects such as education, oil, and cattle, It is free. Full review by TravelerTrecker
According to Artesia Mainstreet Inc information Robert Summers created "the Rustler" and "Women's Intuition & Pioneering Endurance" sculptures. "The Partners" sculpture was by Vic Payne.
