What a special place and so well done. I highly recommend taking about 2 hours to wander the grounds. The entry is deceiving. It looks small but it keeps going and going including up. Take time… Full review by terrihansonmead

April is probably the wrong time of year to go to the botanical gardens. Lots of dead leaves, weeds, debris. Some blooming flowers. But not worth $14 per person. Save it for a better time of year may… Full review by Companion773325

I was there a couple of evenings ago and saw no dogs there. I seriously doubt that they are allowed in the Gardens at any time. The Gardens' caretakers are very serious about maintenance--I can't imagine them allowing pets. Also, I don't think it would be good for the pet--it's cold and dark, and the gardens have some hazards.

The winter garden in Boise is only open by appointment Mon-Fri during daytime hours. They have a fairly decent website for more info.
