Does anyone recommend a specific trail, besides the 10 minute hike to the bottom of the falls? I am taking a group of field hockey girls for a scenic hike, and would like a 1-2 hour hike with views.

You can download the tail map off the NY Parks website. Click on Maps on the right hand side. There are multiple trails showing on the map to do. parks.ny.gov/parks/130/

No it is not allowed and trail was closed. You can go to the green lake, there a nice place for swimming there
