The place is nice but, as a foreigner, I think you need a strong background in Korean and Japanese History to enjoy this place. I don’t have this so it was kind of frustrating.Full review by Mathieu M

Of all the grand palaces in Seoul, this palace receives the least attention-at least in the travel books I read-but is a favorite for locals, for a great reason: it's lovely. Well worth a visit.Full review by hrtraveler
