There are lots of smaller trails in that area. The trail to Foster Falls is steep but short and it’s beautiful. Stone Door, Greeter Falls, and Laurel Falls are good shorter trails. Google …

There are lots of smaller trails in that area. The trail to Foster Falls is steep but short and it’s beautiful. Stone Door, Greeter Falls, and Laurel Falls are good shorter trails. Google maps and South Cumberland State Park website have great trail maps. The hikes aren’t paved or anything and are steep and have stairs but for the average person should be ok.

Can someone please advise on the best way to hike Fiery Gizzard if we are car camping at Foster Falls campground? Could we do a one-way hike and get a shuttle to either the start point and hike our way back or shuttle pick up at end? We are going in late-July. Thanks!

Hello, I have not done this yet but am doing research as well. I saw one site that said there were shuttle services but you should plan for that ahead of time. Many people appear to finish at Foster Falls so have their car waiting there for them after having gotten a shuttle in the morning to the start point. I hope that his helps and If we go next week I will let you know more.
