Hi, It takes about 1 hr and the road is paved. Before the Helmcken Falls you can also visit Dawson Falls with a nice short hike through the woods from the parking to the falls and on your way back you can make a stop a Moul Falls. A nice hike before you reach the Moul Falls.
Is the parking area paved? Any gravel or uneven road surfaces? Our group will be on motorcycles so best we know road conditions in advance.

We were just there yesterday ( in our rv ) however we are avid dirtbikers, motorcyclist.. pretty much everything on two wheels. The gravel only starts after the turn off to the falls, you could easily drive there, it's a bit of a twisty road too! There are some pot holes, but avoidable.
