We will be visiting St. Kitts on our cruise during the week of April 16, 2018. Is Herbert’s Beach easily accessible by ferry boat? If so, where would we catch the ferry on St. Kitts so that we can travel to Nevis?

The ferry to Nevis is right around the corner from the cruise dock. It costs about $10 U.S. each way. 45 minutes each way. It does not go to Herbert's Beach. It docks in Charlestown. Herberts Beach is about a twenty minute ride to the opposite side of the island. There are plenty of taxis once you get off the ferry. Most tourists will head to Pinney Beach for the restaurants, but it is usually very crowded. Another option is Lovers Beach. Very secluded and usually deserted. much nicer sand and better swimming. Pinney's is very rocky. Lovers Beach is also closer to the dock than Herbert's. Depends on what you're looking for.
