Of the many, many, many pieces of art on display I saw 5 that I found mildly interesting. Compared to other art museums I have been to it is a 5/10. The architecture, however, is very interesting.Full review by alanbron

This isn't for everyone, the museum is built into a cliff so everything is underground. We had to go out into the light half way through to get coffee and have a break. It's difficult to find an exit…Full review by Chrisgale
My husband may not be able to walk up all steps from ferry. What is an alternative please.

Definitely agree with earlier responses-ferry is not an option as there are no alternate options to walking steep steps. The steps are also not under cover so you are exposed to weather …
Definitely agree with earlier responses-ferry is not an option as there are no alternate options to walking steep steps. The steps are also not under cover so you are exposed to weather elements hot or wet and windy. Internally at the museum it is well catered for all to get around.
The museum is open Wednesday–Monday, 10am–6pm. closed most Tuesdays and Christmas Day. \ Summer opening hours are 10am–6pm from 1 December 2018—28 April 2019.
