Questions & answers

Q:
Is it recommended to get a tour of the falls- or just wander around yourself?
A:
Just wander around by yourself. I don't believe a guide can add much to the experience.

I have not travelled to the delta in Feb but the road from windhoek to maun and then to kasane is tared and should offer no problems. Most people fly into the delta from maun and trallling in the delta is best by boat, As for vistoria falls there is no problem at all. The falls are spectacular in dry season (oct-dec) and winter but I have never visited in feb. All my visits ahve been june or july sept or october. Enjoy!

Hi Sheffield. Yes many game drives around Livingstone. Never the less you can try coming to Zimbabwe side where you can try one of our leading private game reserve in Victoria Falls town. The chances of you seeing the big 5 here are at list available. Zim side also provides with the largest National Park in Zimbabwe on a 2 hrs drive from Victoria Falls town with varieties of game parks suitable for game drives and or camping. Good campsites available for you. Not forgeting about the Zambezi National Park along the magestic Zambezi river where a game drive conducted in the park is a true enthusiatic game of challenge to see more game. Plenty of game but with thick vegitaion making more a sport to locate some game. Chobe National Park in Botswana becomes another alternative though depending with your vissa applications. Recommendations on Chobe trips are always good and pleasing. Looking down to see you in March for activities to add up to this.
