Cruising to Aruba. I would like to visit Palm Beach. Would like to know if beach is calm, if very crowded, also would you recommend the bus or cab from cruise port and are they reasonable and can you get them right off ship? Thanks!

Hi! It is super clam, clear water and the beaches are typically not crowded at all. All the cabs offer the same pricing which is great! it doesn't matter which cab you choose. Most are independent drivers, although there are a few cab companies. Pricing for cabs are very reasonable. Be sure to hit up Moomba Restaurant right next to the Marriott. It's on the beach with great entertainment and the foos is always very good at a reasonable price. Enjoy - Aruba is our favorite vacation spot!

Hello! We actually stayed at The Cove condominiums which is located right behind the Holiday Inn (Find it on Air BNB) and beside the Marriott Surf Club. So it was 2 minutes or less walk to the beach there. We did rent chairs and umbrella at Moomba Beach Bar. Right beside the Jolly Pirates. The staff there will set you up and give you beach service for food and drinks if you want! Super nice people there! Enjoy!
