Perú Hop takes the stress out of traveling with added bonuses and surprises. We chose to start in Puno, visit Le Paz, then hop on and off on our way to Lima. The App allows you to flex your travel da… Full review by DBrownNZ

Booked some through Peruhop and others through Booking. Stayed at Frayles in Paracas ( best price was through Peru hop) and Nazca Travel one in Nazca. I did not like the Nazca location ( I thought it too out of way - but other reviewers disagreed with me) . Nazca one people were very nice and flight ( same as used by Peruhop) would have only $70 if booked from Nazca one. Do not remember name of hotel in Huacachina but best one on Peruhop list. Be sure to do the dune ride and sledding- worth it for ride alone.

How do you confirm your Machu picchu booking? I am very nervous about assuming they can book it on the bus. I paid for the 2 day train trip when I booked my bus, and when I emailed peruhop they said all the extra tours would be arranged by my guide. Everything I read says you need to book machu picchu months in advance and they need a copy of your passport to get your ticket. I tried to cancel the add on so I could book directly with find local tours, but they offered me a credit ($350, which nothing they offer would cost). I don't want to be arguing with the company before I even get on the bus, but I also don't want to find out I don't have a ticket after 2 weeks of travel.

You need your passport to get a permit to hike the Inca trail. I think just for a trip into the site, it's a different process.

How do you choose the dates for the extra tours you already booked? They don't appear in the booking system but are listed in my booking confirmation (without any dates), Did anyone have the same issue? I am trying to set the dates for my tours to make sure they are reserved, especially Machu Picchu, Thanks

You e-mail them at the "info" e-mail address and tell them on what dates you want to do each activity. They won't show up in your printed itinerary, but as long as you have an e-mail …

You e-mail them at the "info" e-mail address and tell them on what dates you want to do each activity. They won't show up in your printed itinerary, but as long as you have an e-mail acknowledgement from them, then you are confirmed. You should get an answer within a few hours. You can also tell the guide on any Peruhop bus and they can arrange it for you. Most tours can be confirmed just a day or two in advance, but I would definitely book Machu Picchu as early as possible.
