We went early in the morning, it was lovely! We saw many gators, loved the birds and Lilly pad lakes! Kids had a blast. A baby alligator walked across the road in front of us- of course a highlight! Full review by T6498MUgretas

This looks awesome, but won’t have a car on our trip. Can we still see gators and such or is a car needed for the full experience?
A:
You need a car. The visitors center is about a a mile or two from the refuge park. The park is a four mile one way route thru thru reserve. The park is about a 10 mile drive from I-95
There are a lot of different animals. It's sometimes difficult to spot them, but it's nature, you will find many different birds, spiders, snakes, gators and many more.
