Everyplace that the tour guide takes you is a place that you can get to. When we went to the hermits rest tour we did have to go through a gate that required an ID or some kind of pass. We did get through the gate no problem. I did notice some kind of bus also got access however, I do not have information about the bus. I would still recommend the tour though because of the information and the experience. We could have done the majority of this tour alone however, I would definitely not have appreciated or learned as much as I did.

Yes, my wife and I took the Pink Jeep sunset tour last month and it was outstanding! The guide was very knowledgable of the park and took us to some excellent areas to see the canyon. He also pointed out some great locations for us to explore on our own the next day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone in the area!
