Guests have access to the entire home and private yard in a beautiful birch forest. The cottage was once the Palmer, Alaska, Public Library and was moved to Talkeetna on the Alaska Railroad to be used as an original 'homesteader’s cottage.' It has been updated with new amenities but still boasts its original large handcrafted front window. We love its rustic charm!
