Has anyone used this is a taxi service along the riverwalk? Myself, my wife, and our 2 children ages 7 and 11 are heading down next month and thought of this as an option to cruise around. Wanted to know if the boats are regularly available or will we be standing around more than anything and should have just walked. Its $100 for all of us and want to make sure its worth the money.

I have to agree with my colleagues. The River Walk is wonderful and, even on hot days, shady and pleasant. The boats, while fun and informational, are only shaded when going under a bridge. Even if your children are very young, I would encourage a stroll along the river.
