Shrine of Remembrance is a must see in Melbourne. The Shrine tells the history of the men of WWI. It has wonderful views of the city. You should take the time to visit this site.Full review by Michael W

This is an important site for acknowledging ANZAC soldiers who died in multiple wars/skirmishes. It is an imposing building. There are elevators but I am not sure how easy they are to access. The vieā¦Full review by Davigeta

I don't think you need a guided tour. The most significant part of my visit was the demonstration of the "ray of light' ceremony on the 11th of November every year which marks Armistice ā¦

The most significant part of my visit was the demonstration of the "ray of light' ceremony on the 11th of November every year which marks Armistice Day, but this is open to all visitors so you don't need to be on a tour to experience it. The times of the demonstration are listed - try to find out these times so that you can schedule your visit to coincide with one of them.
