Hi the best thing to do would be to arrive at the trees about 7:30, there is a light show that begins at 7:45 and you can watch this for free from the park. If you want to climb the trees it does cost you. The best place to see the lights is to go on the flyer around 7:20 and you see all the light shows from the top of the wheel. We were lucky enough to be near the top when the light shows started. Spectacular to see from the wheel if you time it right.

If you only have one day in Singapore I’d wait until it is dark and then walk around the super trees for free which at certain times in the night there is a free light show.

I think about 3-4 hours, we were there in Nov/Dec and it rained every afternoon, so about 5pm was a good time, the trees light up at night which is beautiful to see

Just as easy to purchase tickets on the day as it is to pre-book. If you have any elderly or injured with you be sure to hire a wheel chair for the day, extremely cheap and my mother …
Just as easy to purchase tickets on the day as it is to pre-book. If you have any elderly or injured with you be sure to hire a wheel chair for the day, extremely cheap and my mother benefited greatly as we were able to walk/wheel around and see more so it was a much better experience as there's LOTS to see at the gardens :)
