It was a very nice trail we had a great time. Just past the falls we seen a moose and her calf playing. It was very exciting to watch! Full review by shannonbT3620JS

Hi Amber, Not sure when you plan on visiting so this may be a moot answer. If your dog is a trained service dog, your dog may accompany you on the trail. Other wise dogs are restricted to road surfaces and parking lots. No matter the size or breed of the dog, their scent identifies them as a canine. To all wildlife in the park that means wolf or coyote. The wildlife reacts in one of two ways. Elk and Moose will charge with the intent to kill to protect the herd and babies. So when Bowser runs back to you the big animal will be in hot pursuit with one thought in mind, eliminate the danger to the herd and the babies. You become part of the perceived "pack". The other response is the canine scent will cause the wildlife to vacate the area. Then the joy of seeing wildlife on a hike is gone. Those are the main reasons for limiting Fido to roads and parking lots. Hope that helps. Cheers
