Always happy to see a national wildlife refuge. Since it's the middle of summer, wildlife is quiet, but we did see quite a few water birds and it was a pretty drive thru the refuge.Full review by NF2013_13
How much for admission and can i take a mountain bike?

There is no admission fees to enter Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge. You could take your bike and ride on the scenic drive, but I am not sure if they permit riding bike on the hiking trails.
