Board Certified Orthodontists focuses on Orthodontics, Airway and TMJ Disorders. We have the FIRST ConeBeam CT type 3D imaging system in ALABAMA to evaluate the anatomic truth of the patient. We see children as young as 3 years of age and adults. We also treat patients with TMJ Disorders and patients who are CPAP intolerant and use dental appliances to open the airway at night as a possible alternative to CPAP. Dr. Harrell teaches part time at UAB Orthodontic Dept and is the main Editor/author of a medical text book to be published in late 2024 "Growing into Breathing Problems: The Quest for Collaborative Lifetime Solutions". Dr. Harrell is also a member of the American Dental Association's Children Airway Screener Taskforce in the development of the Children's General Airway Screener Protocol (C-GASP) screener.
