Very interesting site. Super cool to see. We took public buses from Rui Caribe and back and felt very safe. Read about the site before you go as there is minimal explanation on site.Full review by LisaMP6o8

Great bike ride from our hotel to see the El Meco ruins. Lots of signs to explain what we were seeing. We spent about an hour and kids enjoyed seeing all the iguanas!Full review by T3627RKmikek

What would the taxi fare be from Puerto Juarez ferry to El Meco?
A:
From the northern end of the hotel zone (Hotel Casa Maya) it was $35 each way. The ferry looks to be quite a bit closer if that helps.

While my family and I visited in April of 2019 I researched the safest and least stressful way for us to get around Cancun. I used USA Transfers company and booked a private private ride time in one of their vans with a driver. He picked us up from our resort and took us to the ruins here and waited on premises for us. He also took us wherever else we wanted to go to within our time frame that we had booked with him. You are able to take a taxi here, but I preferred the comfort of a well known/well reviewed business.
Q:
Hi! How much is the admission to visit El Meco? Thanks
A:
I think it was about 40 pesos - about 5.00 seems right.
