Beautiful sculpture gardens with interesting sculptures, beautiful grounds and an indoor Picasso exhibit (largest privately owned collection of Picassos). If you like art it is a must see. Full review by flo220

i agree with everyone else. Get the hotel to look after your bags. We used the bus to travel everywhere using the convenience of the Hakone pass. The museum might store them for you …

I remember there is only a few Picasso's inside the pavillion. So even with it closed you won't miss much. The Open-air museum itself is worth a visit, particularly on fairweather days.

Hi, its depend what you are calling "walking"? It is about 1.5-2 hours walking, my recommendation is to use public transportation and the best is train. Gil
