Wow!! I've seen Johnsons Canyon in the summer and it is beautiful but you need to see it in the winter too. It is gorgeous and less crowded. Ice cleats are a must.Full review by Paula H

One of the highlights of our time in Banff. So unique in winter with the frozen water falls. We had a guide an great 20-30 min walk to the lower falls each way. Photos tell the story.Full review by GrantWaus

Wow, it was worth the hike to the upper falls. I took so many photos . The upper falls was frozen but I was able to watch a few ice climbers on the waterfall.Full review by Caryl J
Going in mid June. What time would we have to get there to find parking and beat the crowds?

We had no issues. I think it was full when we first tried. We went a few mins down to see another falls on my plans, then came back and was able to park. It all depends on people …
We had no issues. I think it was full when we first tried. We went a few mins down to see another falls on my plans, then came back and was able to park. It all depends on people parked there if they are doing the shorter walk to first fall or continuing on to the top. Highly recommend going all the way to the top.
