Ben Cat is a grade 3 urban area under Binh Duong province, with a total natural area of 234.35 km², a population of 364.578 people and a population density of 1,555 people/km² divided into 7 wards and Phú An commune. Mỹ Phước ward is considered the cultural, economic and political center of Bến Cát city.
