I visited in July. Even though it was a weekday, the garden was quite lively with many visitors. However, thanks to its vast grounds, I was still able to relax and enjoy a peaceful time.Full review by Dreamer35322044067

I visited end of June so way past the cherry blossom season with 3 young kids. I still enjoyed it. The garden is HUGE. Amazed at such a big plot of open land sitting in the middle of a city where everything else needs to be squished together due to that lack of space. The positive of visiting in Dec may be the lack of mosquitos. I certainly got my share of bites while just strolling through there. I especially enjoyed the green house, which I assume is open year around so it won't be a waste of time to visit. It does cost 500¥ for entrance, but I felt it was worth it considering how big the garden is. Very well maintained IMO.
