I don’t know how to swim. They put on a life vest around my wait that made it easy to stay afloat while snorkeling and enjoying all the views. They also had a life saver ring that I could hang on to. As long as you are comfortable with breathing through your mouth using a snorkel you should be good and have fun. The equipment is good. Trust it and your guide. He will be fine. However if you wear glasses and no contacts and your eyesight is poor then you won’t be able to see much and may scare you if this is your first time snorkeling.
Will we be forced to wear a life vest when we snorkel with the sharks and sting rays? I hope not...
