At CES 2025, Hisense unveiled the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV (116UX), a groundbreaking innovation in home entertainment. This is the first consumer TV to feature RGB Local Dimming Technology, setting a new standard for color accuracy, vibrancy, and efficiency in MiniLED displays.

If you don’t think Hisense is ready to compete for the title in 2025, they put everyone on notice this morning with the introduction of the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV (116UX), which could be the first consumer model to use RGB Local Dimming Technology if released this year.

Hisense will deliver a consumer-ready micro-LED TV in 2025 with a 136-inch screen size. Its mini-LED TV lineup will also expand with a 116-inch model – the largest yet from any TV maker, at the time of writing – that uses RGB backlight tech for enhanced color gamut coverage.
