Tri-Union Seafoods canned tuna sold at Costco, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and other stores have been recalled for botulism risk. Brands include Genova and H-E-B.

Tuna sold in 26 states and in Washington, D.C., was recalled over concerns that it may have been contaminated. The stores affected include Trader Joe’s, Genova, Van Camp’s and H-E-B.

The tuna cans are being recalled due to a packaging error that poses a risk of botulism, a potentially fatal form of food poisoning.
