A baby Jesus figurine was anonymously returned to a fire station in Fort Collins, Colorado after it was reported as missing four days prior.

The Fort Collins, Co., Old Town Square nativity scene had been missing the iconic baby Jesus since Dec. 17th — but it was returned by an anonymous thief just in time for the religious holiday, according to Fox9.

A baby Jesus figurine was returned to a Colorado nativity scene where it was stolen from just days before Christmas — and an apology note was left behind. The statuette was taken from the Old Town Square nativity scene on Sunday, Dec. 15, according to a social media post shared by the Fort Collins Police.
