Gucci has announced that its creative director of under two years, Sabato De Sarno, has left the position just two and a half weeks before the next runway show.

MILAN – Gucci revealed on Thursday morning that it was ending its collaboration with creative director Sabato De Sarno. The fall fashion show in Milan on February 25 will be presented by the Gucci design office. The new artistic direction will be announced in due time.

Luxury giant Gucci announced Thursday it was parting ways with its chief designer Sabato De Sarno following a sales slump, in the latest shakeup at a major European label.

Sabato De Sarno is exiting Gucci two years after he was appointed as creative director, the brand announced on Thursday. Its Autumn/Winter 2025 show during Milan Fashion Week on 25 February will be presented by the Gucci design studio.
