Hate it or love it, all of Delaware experienced it on Monday − snow, that is. The area's first big winter storm of 2025 dumped numerous inches of snow on The First State, with Sussex and Kent counties seeing the most precipitation. Parts of New Castle County saw healthy accumulations too, though.

Delaware was among more than two dozen states that were slammed by a deadly winter storm that produced heavy snow and ice across the U.S. this week. The Director of Community Relations for the Delaware Department of Transportation Charles McLeod joined FOX Weather on Tuesday morning to break down some of the challenges the state is facing as cleanup efforts continue.

Though the worst of the storm ended late Monday, Tuesday morning commuters in parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware can expect slippery roads and blowing snow.
