Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors were unable to overcome Stephen Curry's hamstring injury in the second round of the playoffs against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After taking Game 1 of the series, they lost four straight and were sent home.

The Warriors were projected to compete for the championship this season after acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat in February. Golden State beat the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs and took a 1-0 lead against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round.

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr acknowledged that the team will need a starting center next season. With Draymond Green manning the position for parts of the year, it's tough to continue asking him to do so.
