Officials are investigating an apparent food poisoning incident in Jessup, Maryland, that has left more than 40 people hospitalized.

Officials in Maryland say a mass food poisoning incident at an area wholesale seafood distributor is under investigation.

Preliminary indications show that the illness is related to outside food prepared by an employee and shared with others at the facility. There has not been any reports of any further illness connected to this incident.
