State attorneys will call as many as 25 witnesses from a variety of expertise areas to try to prove the suspect’s guilt at trial in the Idaho student murder case.

Lawyers for Idaho college killings suspect Bryan Kohberger say prosecutors need to be sanctioned over failures to hand over required expert witness disclosures putting Kohberger in a position where he will be “greatly prejudged” at trial.

Through an advanced DNA technique, investigators first identified the suspect in Moscow homicides on Dec. 19, 2022, the defense wrote.
