Animal services officials said they were notified Tuesday about an injured feline found in a dumpster just minutes before it was scheduled for collection.

Investigators are looking for a person who was caught on surveillance video, tossing a cat into a dumpster in Laguna Hills. The footage shows the person exiting a vehicle, grabbing a white garbage bag and discarding it into the dumpster near the 25000 block of Cabot Road on Monday at approximately 7:20 pm.
