Check your fridge if you buy frozen waffles. Certain brands of the fluffy breakfast favorite have been linked to a listeria contamination.  TreeHouse Foods has issued a voluntary recall on Friday for its frozen waffle products that are sold at many retailers across the country and in Canada.

Affected BrucePac ready-to-eat meat and poultry items were produced in Durant, Oklahoma, between June 19, 2024 and October 8, 2024. The company said in a statement that it is working closely with the USDA to notify consumers and distributors and ensure “all necessary actions are taken to ensure a safe food supply.”

Frozen waffle products sold at Walmart, Target, Kroger and other major retailers across the country have been recalled due to a risk of listeria contamination.
