MILAN – Gucci revealed on Thursday morning that it was ending its collaboration with creative director Sabato De Sarno. The fall fashion show in Milan on February 25 will be presented by the Gucci design office. The new artistic direction will be announced in due time.

Gucci has announced that its creative director of under two years, Sabato De Sarno, has left the position just two and a half weeks before the next runway show.

De Sarno was appointed as Gucci’s creative director in January 2023, replacing previous creative director Alessandro Michele. Prior to Gucci, De Sarno was the fashion director of Valentino and also spent some time at Prada and Dolce & Gabbana .

Sabato De Sarno is exiting Gucci two years after he was appointed as creative director, the brand announced on Thursday. Its Autumn/Winter 2025 show during Milan Fashion Week on 25 February will be presented by the Gucci design studio.
