Scheffler is the second former Longhorns golfer in recent years to make a GameDay appearance. Jordan Spieth was the program's guest picker on Nov. 12, 2022, a 17-10 Texas loss to TCU. Stakes are far higher for the Longhorns this time around. Perhaps a different golfer making picks will bring a different result for the burnt orange.
