White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended the decision to block the Associated Press from access to an Oval Office event this week.

Associated Press journalists have been blocked from places like the Oval Office and Air Force One because the organization has declined to use the term ‘Gulf of America.’

"If we feel that there are lies being pushed by outlets in this room, we are going to hold those lies accountable," said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
