A man was fatally shot by Aurora police at a privately owned park-and-ride lot near Denver International Airport on Monday afternoon, officials said.

Two men and a woman were taken to the hospital with serious or life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Aurora. It happened on Wednesday night in a parking lot of a grocery store in the Colorado city.

Aurora Police said they responded to a report of a suspicious person at a parking lot area where airport travelers park their cars and shuttle to the concourse.
