Released last summer, “It Ends with Us” tells the story of Lily Bloom (played by Lively), a Boston woman who rekindles a connection with a high school boyfriend, Atlas ( Brandon Sklenar ), while in a turbulent marriage to Ryle (Baldoni, who also directed the film), a doctor prone to violent outbursts.

Baldoni’s voice memo was part of the effort to soften his image. The director and star of It Ends With Us entered 2025 having just been sued by Lively for creating a hostile work environment, with specific allegations including sexual harassment.

Mia Schachter weighed in on the co-stars’ on-set feud, which is at the center of their dueling lawsuits, in the new documentary “He Said, She Said.”
