A Nantucket​ driver has been charged with drunk driving after crashing into a 150-year-old Civil War monument.

A driver allegedly crashed into and damaged a Civil War monument in Nantucket on Wednesday night, authorities said.

After crashing into the side of the monument, the car rolled over and came to rest on its roof on the sidewalk, officials said.
