While Lawrence Taylor doesn't want Abdul Carter wearing his retired No. 56, one of Lawrence's former teammates said he would be just fine with the Giants unretiring his number if either Carter or Jaxson Dart wanted to wear it.

By taking Abdul Carter with the No. 3 pick, the Giants have given the Cowboys and Micah Parsons a scary defensive counterpart.

Lest we forget, the two most recent Super Bowls won by the Giants featured a ferocious defensive front, anchored by edge rushers Michael Strahan, Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck in 2007 and, four years later, by Tuck, Umenyiora, Jason Pierre Paul and Mathias Kiwanuka in what was dubbed the NASCAR package.
