Texas Christian University (TCU) and the University of North Carolina (UNC) will open the 2026 college football season in Dublin for the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.

College football is going back to Ireland! It was recently announced that the ACC’s North Carolina Tar Heels will face the Big 12’s TCU Horned Frogs in the 2026 edition of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic,

The 2026 college football season will begin with a matchup between North Carolina and TCU in Dublin, Ireland, in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. The teams will play Aug. 29, 2026, at Aviva Stadium.
