Bitter rivals India and Pakistan rarely play each other on the cricket field, but when they do there is an unparalleled thirst for tickets.

India has officially decided to not travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy and will instead play their matches at a neutral venue in the UAE. This move aligns with India's long-standing policy of not engaging in bilateral cricket with Pakistan outside of ICC tournaments.

Pakistan will host a first major multi-country cricket tournament in nearly three decades next week and its cricket chief is hopeful that a successful Champions Trophy will bring a flood of other such events.
