On the eve of a visit from JD Vance and other American officials, Denmark's PM cautions Greenlanders that President Donald Trump's interest in Greenland "is not going away."

The United States is exerting "unacceptable pressure" on Greenland, Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Tuesday, ahead of an unsolicited visit by a high-profile U.S. delegation to the semi-autonomous Danish territory this week.

Denmark’s foreign minister said Wednesday he is happy that Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife will visit the U.S. air base in Greenland in place of second lady Usha Vance’s planned attendance at a national dogsled race.
