Philadelphia star guard Tyrese Maxey will miss the remainder of the season after reinjuring his sprained right finger, causing pain and swelling, the 76ers announced Wednesday.

The Sixers head coach shared his thoughts on Tyrese Maxey becoming the third star to be ruled out for the remainder of the season.

WASHINGTON -- The Philadelphia 76ers made things official on Wednesday when they announced that All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey will miss the rest of the season. Maxey had not played since March 3 against the Portland Trail Blazers when he suffered a lower back sprain to add to his right finger sprain issue.
