Giant Eagle is shifting its approach to shopping bags once again. The grocery chain is replacing its fabric reusable bags with new single-use plastic bags made from 75% recycled material.

Giant Eagle, which started an initiative to cutdown on single-use plastics in 2019, continues to encourage shoppers to bring their own reusable bags for use during checkout.
